Unravel is a 501 (c)(3) focused on accelerating innovative pediatric cancer research to help researchers develop better and more targeted therapies. Many of the therapies we currently give our children to treat their cancers were developed for adults and are simply "dosed down" for children's small bodies. Adult and childhood cancers develop and progress differently. Our youngest cancer warriors are in need of new therapies to help children not only survive cancer but live long and healthy lives afterward. Less than 4% of all federal funding for cancer research is directed towards pediatric cancer, but our smallest warriors deserve so much more than that.
